Nicole Beck

Hi!  I’m Nicole Beck – proud owner and creator of Five Leaf Financial.  What I love most about my work is meeting new people and learning about how they create prosperity in today’s emerging markets.  I believe entrepreneurs are heroes.  It takes a lot of courage and strength to start and continually operate a business.  This is my second!

I have worked in accounting for over 20 years – 6 years as the senior accountant at a CPA firm in the Phoenix metropolitan area.  I opened my own firm because I envisioned a better way I could serve clients.  I have built and team and network at Five Leaf Financial to align the client experience with the standards and expectations outlined in our company values.

Compliance is necessary, but doesn’t have to be hard or miserable, and in the process there can be a lot of insight to benefit your business.  Who can small business owners rely on for business advice, strategies for growth and scaling, reassurance via forecasts for expansion, and implementation of tax mitigation plans?  Hopefully us!  We are in relationship with our clients and act as a valued as a trusted partner that will help with those challenges and more. 

In my spare time, I love camping, yoga, dirt-biking, motorsports, live college football games, playing chess, cards, and board games (especially with my son), taking long walks with my dog, and most of all, traveling to experience this incredibly beautiful planet and its fascinating cultures.

Amanda McKinley

Amanda McKinley is a dedicated accounting professional whose passion for tax strategy and client service guides every aspect of her work. She holds both a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from New Mexico State University, and she is also an Enrolled Agent with the IRS for tax preparation and representation. Amanda began her career with a CPA firm immediately after completing her studies and has been specializing in tax preparation and advisory services ever since.

In addition to her professional experience, Amanda owns and operates several businesses across diverse industries. This hands-on entrepreneurial background gives her unique insight into the operational and financial challenges her clients face, allowing her to deliver practical, strategic tax guidance tailored to each organization’s needs.

Amanda resides on a ranch in western New Mexico with her husband and their two young sons. When she’s not working with clients, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, including hunting, horseback riding, and taking in the wide-open New Mexico landscape.

Nancy Lane is a seasoned financial executive and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 30 years of experience leading accounting and finance operations across a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and technology.

Known for her strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, Nancy has a proven track record of improving financial systems, streamlining operations, and driving sustainable growth. She has successfully led multi-entity accounting departments, managed complex ERP implementations, and delivered actionable insights through custom reporting and analytics.

Nancy has held senior leadership roles in both privately held and corporate environments, including serving as Controller for a conglomerate of 25 companies and Assistant Controller for Bruce Aerospace, a subsidiary of Transdigm Group. Her career spans notable accomplishments such as establishing new banking relationships, reducing payroll costs by 50%, leading state and federal tax audits, and integrating accounting systems during mergers and acquisitions.

A lifelong learner, Nancy is actively involved in the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and continues to pursue professional development through ongoing training in ERP systems, reporting tools, and data analysis. She currently works with Sage 100 Contractor and is proficient in DEACOM, Epicor, QBO, Crystal Reports, and Excel.

Nancy has completed an intensive CFO program with certification as a Chief Financial Advisor. She now helps businesses to grow their sales and profits, safely and quickly. As an outsourced CFO, Nancy provides this service at a small fraction of the cost of hiring a full-time CFO.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from Biola University and is committed to bringing clarity, compliance, and efficiency to every organization she serves.

She’s currently studying Business Accounting at Grand Canyon University, where her passion for learning and personal growth continues to grow. For Jamie, work is more than just a job—it’s a way to show up for others and offer your gifts to help where one may need it. At Five Leaf Jamie shows up by providing accounting services to small businesses to help them reach their financial goals, always aiming to make them feel seen, supported, and set up for success.

Outside the office, Jamie lives by the motto: “How can I make an ordinary moment extraordinary?” She’s an adventurer at heart—whether she’s hiking, swimming in a body of water, road-tripping, trying new recipes, water coloring, or trying to master a new craft, she’s all about making memories and finding beauty in the everyday.
